Go Church A R T

June 29th, 2009 § 1 Comment

Go Church is a gathering of brothers and sisters doing our best to

Act together to stay On Mission. Each part of The Body of Christ or The Church is uniquely designed to somehow participate in God’s global pursuit of the human race. We encourage each other on to make disciples of all groups of people.

Relate to one another in love. Your church is a spiritual family. Families are built around relationships. Relating is messy business that looks nothing like traditional Business.

Truth. Not only is there absolute Truth, but Truth actually came to us in the form of Jesus. We do not have to wrestle endlessly. All important matters have already been settled. We can even have a peace about those things which God has said are True, but which have not yet come to pass. We can build our lives around Truth as communicated to us through the Bible and communicated to others through our living examples.

In every decision, in every word spoken, every thought, every deed done, every attitude towards another you and I have these three lampposts. Does it Relate in Love and Activate us on our Mission and Demonstrate Truth? Then it must be good and pleasing to Jesus.

§ One Response to Go Church A R T

  • Jimmy Nelson says:

Most people think that churches are buildings. But the truth is that the church (buiilding) is only the church, when the Church (believers in the Lord Jesus Christ) is in the church. (It sounds better without the parentheses, but I put them in for understanding. P.S. There was a google ad for a Larry Goins real estate webinar above, and I already own it. Cool. He’s a very good guy.
